Richard and Roland both studied industrial design at Delft Technical University in The Netherlands. They met, became friends and were pleasantly surprised to discover a mutual interest in game design. Later Roland graduated at Guerrilla Games and started working there as a concept designer. Again later, Richard's graduation project resulted in a prototype of the game 'ibb and obb'. In 2008 ibb and obb was part of IndieCade's selection at the E3 in Los Angeles after which Richard and Roland decided to officially team up and Sparpweed was born.
PresentWe've released our first game ibb and obb on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation3, Windows and Linux. Our second game Chalo Chalo, a really slow racing game for 3 to 8 players, developed in collaboration with Tomasz Kaye is out on Steam as an Early Access title for Windows and Mac.
